I had to make one modification to the config files to get icon to
compile properly on my Linux system. In the file
config/unix/i386_linux/define.h, I removed the line:
#define EventMon
There might be a better way to get things to work, but EventMon is
only used for statistics gathering, so far as I can tell, and
everything seems to work fine now. I did not configure my icon system
with X support, however.
